Mark Meadows, the Republican nominee for the NC 11th Congressional District, will speak during the Republican National Convention on Monday. The campaign now has an approximate time: between 3:30 and 4 p.m.

Meadows is among more than a dozen candidates for U.S. House of Representatives who has been invited to speak during the convention.

“The candidates who will be speaking, like the many others running for office across the country, represent the future of our party and a better future for our country,” convention CEO William Harris said in a news release. “Their participation will help inspire enthusiasm for Republicans up and down the ticket.”

Meadows said: “This is such an honor and I am humbled to be invited to speak. I want to join with other conservative candidates to support the Romney/Ryan ticket and make sure that the upcoming election brings real change in Washington.”
