Council appoints two members to Planning Board

The Hendersonville City Council on Thursday appointed two new members to the city Planning Board, filling vacancies created by the resignations of Jeff Collis and Fred Dutcher.

Appointed unanimously to the advisory board were attorney Robert Hogan and Peter Hanley.

Collis said his work on an estate for a family friend and other board commitments had taken too much of his time and he needed to shed the planning board work. Dutcher is moving out of town. The terms expire on Dec. 1 2016.
