Local Cruz headquarters opening today

Ted Cruz supporters are holding a headquarters kickoff and open house at noon today with a pizza party at 4 p.m.

The office, at 350 Chadwick Ave., Suite 200 (it's the big yellow house behind the old Harris Teeter location), will be open until 9 tonight.
Local Cruz supporters, including Asheville Tea Party leader Jane Bilello and Chad Brown, are recruiting volunteers to cover early voting and Election Day precinct locations, offering training on neighborhood canvassing using i360walk, setting up phone banks and sign waving events.
