The Western North Carolina chapter of American United for Separation of Church and State will present “Conversations on God and Government” featuring the Rev. Barry W. Lynn, executive director of Americans United for Separation of Church and State, and J. Brent Walker, executive director of the Baptist Joint Committee for Religious Liberty, at 6 p.m.  Wednesday in Kaplan Auditorium at the Henderson County Public Library. A book signing will follow at 8 p.m. at the Inn on Church, 201 Third Ave W.
