HLT presents 'Dreamgirls'

Hendersonville Little Theatre will continue its 50th season with the award-winning musical Dreamgirls opening April 24 and continuing through May 10.The story of the rise to fame of a 1960s girls singing trio features Kimbela McMinn, Nicky Sampson and Gaysha Snipes as the trio with a supporting cast of Phyllis Albany, Donneaca Avery, Blakley Bristol, Howard Burgin, Colby Coren, Vincent Elumah, Casey Fowler, Brandon Gash, Sean Mahaffey, Dakota McMinn, Ronnie Pepper, Kendra Perry, Bob Pompeo, Kathleen Riddle and Henry Styron. Jonathan Forrester is the director with choreography by Shari Azar, musical direction by Daniel Hensley and assistant director Jessica Donahue.
Shows are 7:30 p.m. Thursday, Friday and Saturday and 2 p.m. Sundays. Tickets are $24 for adults, $18 for ages 18-25 and $12 for students age 17 and under. Reservations may be made by calling the HLT box office at 828-692-1082 or visiting hendersonvillelittletheatre.org
