Alleged pot dealer arrested

Andrew Braymer Harnder

After a traffic stop by the North Carolina Highway Patrol early Thursday, Henderson County sheriff's deputies arrested a Gerton man on charges arising out of a search warrant on July 22 of this year.

Andrew Braymer Harnder, of 6413 Bearwallow Mountain Road in Gerton, was wanted on charges as well on fugitive warrants issued by Florida authorities. The Henderson County charges stemmed from a search warrant deputies executed on July 22.

Harnder was charged with the manufacture of marijuana, possession with intent to sell and deliver marijuana, felony possession of marijuana and felony maintaining a dwelling for the possession of a controlled substance. After being booked on the fugitive warrant from Florida for dealing in stolen property and providing false information, Harnder was jailed in the Henderson County detention center under a $124,000 bond.
