Jubilation!, a photo by Henri Boyea of Henri B. Photography, received a high bid of $1,000 at the first annual Butterfly Benefit in Denver last month.

A radon mitigation business owner and local photographer, Boyea currently has work displayed at ArtMob Studios downtown and Appalachian Coffee Co. on Fifth Avenue West. The benefit auction was a fundraiser for CanSAR (Cancer Survivors Against Radon), an organization dedicated to preventing radon-induced lung cancer and saving lives through advocacy, awareness, and outreach. Information may be found at www.cansar.org.

Owner of Radon Control Products, Boyea attended the 33rd Annual International Radon Symposium. In addition to showcasing the latest products and techniques for radon mitigation, the conference focused on current and pending legislation, regulations and increasing public awareness.
