Foundation seeks nominations for Catalyst Award

Dot Marlow was a founding donor of the Community Foundation of Henderson County.

The Community Foundation of Henderson County is currently accepting nominations for the second annual Dot Marlow Philanthropic Catalyst Award.


Recipients of the award exemplify selfless volunteer leadership in philanthropic work for our community’s greater good, remaining engaged with commitment and determination to accomplish results that will help others and create a better future even beyond our lifetime. The recipient of the inaugural award was Renee Kumor.
“At the Foundation, Dot is often referred to as our ‘founding lady,’” says President/CEO McCray Benson. “She joined our organization at a pivotal time and it is our privilege to honor Dot’s tremendous legacy with this award.”
The deadline for nominations is 5 p.m. Friday, Feb. 7. Nominees for the award must be living residents of Henderson County. Committees, corporations and organizations are not eligible.
