Carolina Village hosts artist reception

Carolina Village will host an artist reception from 3:30 to 5 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 28, featuring the artwork displayed in the “Main Street” area of the facility and the artists present to meet the public.

 

Carolina Village regularly hosts an Invitational Artist Exhibit, titled Village Art, in its facility on Carolina Village Road. This exhibit adorns the walls of Carolina Village’s “Main Street” area. The current exhibit will be on display through February.
Fifteen local artists have been selected for the exhibit, which features oil paintings, acrylic paintings, pastel paintings, watercolors and mixed media work. Subject matter is governed by whatever interests the artists. You may see original landscapes, portraits, florals, still life, animals, or non-objective work. A separate area near the main dining room features the work of one of these artists. The public is cordially invited to view the exhibit during this time and enjoy the talents present in our local area.
