League holds forums on redistricting reform

The League of Women Voters Henderson County will present a program on N.C. Fair District Reform on two different days this week.

Presentations on a bipartisan effort to change how the state redraws legislative and congressional boundaries will take place at 2:30 p.m. Tuesday, April 23, at Fletcher Town Hall, and 6 p.m. Thursday, April 25, in Kaplan Auditorium at Henderson County Library. Speakers will share the history of gerrymandering, the need for reasonable bipartisan reform and where North Carolina stands today, including House Bills 69 and 140.
