'Living History Camp' taking reservations now

Historic Johnson Farm is taking reservations for its "Living History Camp" for June 25 - 28.
The camp's focus includes the history of food, clothing, and fiber arts. In addition to seeing and spending time in a one-room schoolhouse, children will enjoying playing old timey games and seeing toys that used to be popular. Participants will be introduced to a world of historical activities that sustained and entertained an earlier generation of children in rural North Carolina.
The camp is for 4th and 5th grade students, and space is limited to 12 students. Reservations are required (828-891-6585. The fee is $75. Hours are 10 am to 2 pm, Monday through Friday, June 25-28.
