Henderson County is soliciting services from qualified engineers to provide engineering and design services, for the Blue Ridge Community College Water and Sewer Extension, in Flat Rock, NC. Sealed responses to the Request for Qualifications shall be received until 2:00 PM on Thursday October 16, 2025, and sent to: Bryan Rhodes, Capital Projects Director, 100 North King Street, Project Management, Hendersonville, NC 28792. Seven (5) copies of the proposal should be signed by an authorized official and mailed or delivered in a sealed envelope to the address above. The envelopes should be clearly marked, “RFQ FOR ENGINEERING AND DESIGN SERVICES FOR THE BLUE RIDGE COMMUNITY COLLEGE WATER AND SEWER EXTENSION” and indicate the name of the firm. A part of the engineering scope will be the necessary programming with Henderson County, in order to provide a proposed design with cost estimates and schedules for approval. Although the exact cost for this project is yet to be determined, it is estimated to be 1 million dollars.
