TAKE NOTICE that a pleading seeking relief against you has been filed in the above-entitled action. The nature of the relief being sought is as follows:

Plaintiff seeks the Court to quiet title in the Plaintiff to the following described real property, which is the subject of this action, which property is described as follows:

BEGINNING at a point in the eastern margin of Norwood Place (formerly Park Place), said point being the southwestern corner of Lot 33 of Druid Hills as shown and depicted on a certain plat of survey recorded in Plat Cabinet B at Slide 41-A of the Record of Plats of the Henderson County Registry, and thence running from said beginning corner and with the southern margin of Lot 33, North 73 deg. 03 min. East 147.9 feet to a point, the southeastern corner of Lot 33, said point further being in the western margin of that property now or formerly owned by MVI Properties, LLC, said tract further being identified as Tract One on a certain plat of survey recorded at Slide 7846 of the Henderson County Registry, thence turning and running with the westernmost boundary of that property owned by MVI Properties, LLC, South 16 deg. 72 min. 34 sec. East 50 feet to a point, said point being the northeastern corner of Lot 29 of Druid Hills, thence turning and running with the northern margin of Lot 29, South 73 deg. 03 min. West 148.4 feet to a point in the eastern margin of Norwood Place and also being the northwestern corner of Lot 29, thence running with the eastern margin of Norwood Place, North 17 deg. 00 min. West 50 feet to a point, said point being the point and place of BEGINNING.

The property herein conveyed is all of that property shown and depicted as Lot 31 of Druid Hills, a subdivision of land in the County of Henderson, State of North Carolina, as shown and depicted on that certain plat of survey recorded in Plat Cabinet B at Slide 41-A of the Office of the Register of Deeds of Henderson County, North Carolina.

The property affected is located at the physical address of 1616 Norwood Place, Hendersonville, NC (previously Park Place).

You are required to make defense to such pleading not later than the 4th day of September, 2018. That date for response is the fortieth day after the 26th day of July, 2018 (exclusive of the date of publication), and it is within that 40-day period that you are required to make defense. Upon your failure to do so the party seeking service against you will apply to the court for the relief sought.
