Gary M. Granger, 80

Gary M. Granger, 80, of Hendersonville, NC passed away Wednesday, September 9, 2015 after a short illness.
He was born and raised in Salamanca, NY and had lived in Henderson County for the past 20 years.
He was the son of the late James and Isabelle Chamberlain Granger and was also preceded in death by his wives, Jeannette LeBlanc Granger and Anita Benton Granger and a sister, Beverly Granger Wilson.
He had worked at Diane’s Hallmark Store in the Blue Ridge Mall.
He is survived by three daughters, Michelle Gleason of East Flat Rock, NC, Ann Louise Olson of Franklinville, NY, and Denise Granger of Salamanca, NY; two step-daughters, Anita Benton-Brink Hoover of Odessa, FL, and Susan Cervetto, of Warren Grove, NJ; four siblings, Harry Granger of Little Valley, NY, Marcia Gerwitz of Hamburg, NY, James F. Granger Jr. of Camp Hill, PA and Herbert Granger of Hilton Head, SC; numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held 7:00 PM Monday, September 14 at the Chapel In The Pines of Jackson Funeral Service. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service in the chapel.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a charity of one’s choice.
