Martha C. Huntley, 85

Martha C. Huntley, 85, of Fletcher, NC went home to be with her Lord, Monday, September 28, 2015.
She was a native of Buncombe County and had resided in Henderson County since 1987. She was preceded in death by her parents, Burgin and Carrie King Crook; her step-mother, Josephine Crook; her husband, Grady S. Huntley; two brothers, Frank and Hubert Crook; and three sisters, Lucille Rogers, Helen Maxwell and Marie Gordon.
She was a member of Hoopers Creek Baptist Church and retired from CTS Corp.
She is survived by a son, Grady Rick Huntley (Denise) of Asheville; a daughter, Sheila Huntley of Fletcher; two grandchildren, three great grandchildren; a sister, Shirley Guice (Bob) of Leicester; two sisters-in-law, Wilma Huntley and Suzanne Huntley and several nieces and nephews.
A funeral service will be held 2:00 PM Saturday, October 3, 2015 at Hoopers Creek Baptist Church with Rev. Phillip Youngblood officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service in the church. Burial will follow in Hoopers Creek Community Cemetery.
