Wymer Edgar Miller, 77

Wymer Edgar Miller, 77, son of the late Willard Edgar and Cora Eva Miller, went home to be with the Lord peacefully at home surrounded by his family on Tuesday, July 22, 2014.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his two brothers, Willard and Denzel Miller; and his sister, Inez Teague.

He is survived by his wife of 52 years, Gertrude C. Miller; sons, Wayne Miller and wife, Gige of Hickory, Darrell Miller and wife, Angie of Hendersonville, Chris Miller of Hendersonville; his grandchildren whom he loved very much, Sarah, Keaton and wife, Cassie, Lindsay, Colby, Derek, Sianna; his beloved mother-in-law, Mattie Cabe; three sisters, Willadean Holland of Franklin, Yvonne and husband, Robert of Penrose, Eva Jo Coggins and husband, Norman of Fayetteville; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held 4 p.m. Saturday, July 26, 2014, at Crab Creek Baptist Church; where he served as chairman of deacons, with the Rev. Brad Knox and Rev. Guy Smith officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends prior to the service from 2 to 4 p.m. at Crab Creek Baptist Church.
