Hand in Hand in Flat Rock to close Dec. 29

FLAT ROCK — Hand in Hand Gallery, a longtime anchor of Flat Rock's Little Rainbow Row, will close after 16 years in business on Dec. 29.The owners, potter David Voorhees and jeweler Molly Sharp Voorhees, are retiring from the retail gallery business to pursue their own artwork exclusively in their Zirconia home studios.

The gallery will host a closing celebration party on from 4 to 8 pm on Dec. 29. Many of the gallery artists will be present. Food, beverages, music and door prizes will be offered. The closing party is a celebration of and a thank you for the relationships developed, artists to customers and gallery family to the community. The public is invited to this free event.

Hand in Hand Gallery is located at 2720 Greenville Highway /NC 225, along Flat Rock's Little Rainbow Row.
