WTZQ announces winner of $1,600 shopping spree

WTZQ announced the winner of a $1,600 Holiday Shopping Spree on Wednesday.

Judy McKnight won the prize. Sixteeen area businesses participated in WTZQ's annual holiday promotional giveaway. Listeners were encouraged to register at all 16 business locations. The winning name was drawn on the air live on Wednesday, Dec. 12. Businesses that participated this year were Old Towne Market, Tempo Music, Goldcrafters of London, Mia's Antiques, Wag Unique Pet Boutique, Inn on Church, Barewood Furniture & More, Flat Rock Cinema, R.C. Fisher Goldsmith, Hot Dog World, Yogurt World, Sears, City Market, Wild Birds Unlimited, The Beehive, Wireless Center Inc.
