Chamber announces chair, new board members

Molly Parkhill will serve as chair of the Chamber of Commerce in 2014.

The Henderson County Chamber of Commerce announced its new officers for 2014 and named four new board members.

 

The 2014 officers are Molly Parkhill with Blue Ridge Community College, chairman; Steve Dozier with Beverly Hanks & Associates, chair-elect; Ragan Ward with Forest Commercial Bank, treasurer; Chuck Edwards with McDonald's, immediate past chair; Graham Fields of Park Ridge Health, Workforce Development Division director; Paul Morse of GE Lighting Solutions, Industrial Division director; and Bob Williford, Chamber president.
New board members are Marybeth Burns of Summit Marketing Group, Brian Cavagnini of Meritor Automotive Inc., Mark Isabelli of Edward Jones and Yates Pharr of Falling Creek Camp.

Re-elected to the board for 2014 are Ruth Birge of United Way of Henderson County, Les Boyd of Boyd Automotive Group, Paul Parker of Carolina Information Technology Resource Corporation, Michael Thompson with The Van Winkle Law Firm and Fair Waggoner with United Community Bank.
The Chamber acknowledged the dedicated service and contributions of outgoing board members Jimm Bunch of Park Ridge Health, Kathy Hoyle of Hoyle Office Solutions, Laura Misner of the College Foundation of North Carolina, Vince Rees of Mountain 1st Bank & Trust and Garry Sherrill of Cummings Cove Golf & Country Club.
