'Hot & Cold,' 'Precept' projects in line for tax breaks

The Henderson County Board of Commissioners is looking at two proposed economic incentive agreements for new businesses or business expansions.

Neither company has been identified.
The board on Monday set public hearings at 5:30 p.m. on Jan. 6 for the two projects, code named "Project Hot and Cold" and "Project Precept."
Henderson County has offered economic incentives for numerous companies that have located in the county or expanded. The economic incentives give refunds of property tax payments in exchange for the companies' investment and agreement to provide new jobs.
