Sierra Nevada gift shop opens

Sierra Nevada's gift shop is now open, offering clothing, accessories and gifts, bar supplies like glasses and tap handles and, of course, beer.

The shop stocks clothing including T-shirts, sweatshirts, outdoor gear and "custom Sierra Nevada cycling threads," gifts — from "mustards made with our fresh beer, to hop-infused soap and lip balm" — and beer glasses, pub towels and neon signs. It features the entire lineup of Sierra Nevada beers, including specialty beers and limited releases.
The gift shop is open 11 a.m.-5 p.m. Monday through Thursday, 11 a.m.-6 p.m. Friday and Saturday, and noon-6 p.m. Sunday.
Brewhouse tours that end with a beer tasting session are expected to be offered by mid October. In the meantime, the brewery continues to offer sneak-peak hardhat tours. To sign up for one go to http://www.sierranevada.com/brewery/north-carolina/brewery-tour.
