Tea Party group organizes demonstration to support Meadows

A Tea Party-affiliated group is organizing a demonstration in Hendersonville in support of U.S. Rep. Mark Meadows "for his bold move to oust John Boehner as Speaker of the House."

FreedomWorks invited supporters to "come and show your appreciation and support for Congressman Meadows who stands with WE THE PEOPLE and is willing to stand up to the #WashingtonCartell in his Resolution to 'vacate the chair.'"

Supporters will meet at 10:45 a.m. at the Golden Corral Restaurant, 2530 Chimney Rock Road, for breakfast and to make signs. Between noon and 1:45 p.m., participants will congregate for a sign wave at Meadows' office at the Grove Street Courthouse.
