Rain forecast moves peace celebration inside

Organizers have moved today's International Day of Peace Celebration inside because of a 90 percent chance of rain.
The event will be held in the Community Room on the second floor of the Historic Courthouse. People can enter by the front entrance or from the north side of the building on Second Street, where there is an elevator.
The program begins at 11:30 a.m. with live music from Nancy Glowacki and friends followed by a moment of global silence at noon. Mayor Volk will speak shortly after noon and followed by Rabbi Philip J. Bentley, who will give the keynote address.
The National Weather Service forecast a 90 percent chance of rain today with a half to three quarters of an inch accumulation and a high near 70. On Sunday the rain chance diminishes to 20 percent. Monday should be mostly sunny with a high of 72.
