Hendersonville High School's annual senior play opens tonight at the high school auditorium.

This year's production is "The Music Man," Meredith Willson's classic musical. It comes 20 years after HHS seniors last performed the beloved show about a salesman who shakes up a small town and produces change in the town and in himself. It features a cast of more than 100 students in all.

Directed by theater program teacher Todd Weakley and chorepgrapher and dance coach Laura Roper, the show stars Austin Roberts as Harold Hill, Rachel Allen as Marian, Margaret Dillon as Mrs. Paroo and J.C. Freeman as Winthrop. The show includes a cast of 34 students with parts plus featured boys and girls dance troupes and choruses, an ensemble and the pit band, directed by Franklin Keel.

Tickets are $12 and available at HHS. Shows are 7:30 p.m. Thursday, Friday and Saturday.
