‘Let’s Keep Talking’ features guest panel

The virtual “Let’s Keep Talking” series of community conversations will resume at 4 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 21, with guest panelists Rabbi Rachael Jackson, of Agudas Israel Synagogue; Denise Long, executive director, United Way of Henderson County; and Blair Craven, chair of the Henderson County School Board.

During the discussion moderated by Ruth Birge, panelists will share personal perspectives on the political divide, how we move forward together and how individuals can make a difference. Following the panel there will be a brief workshop on “Why and How to Have Comfortable Conversations with Someone on the Other Side of the Divide.”

Interested people may submit a question relevant to the topic for the panel. A few will randomly be chosen. “Let’s Keep Talking” is made up of a group of people of all faiths and ideologies rallying around the importance of “Living the Golden Rule.” Its purpose is to build a more cohesive, caring community in which people believe that what they have in common is stronger than what divides them and to bring people together to tackle shared challenges.
