Forecast of cold, windy weather forces cancellation of Jump Off jazz show

A forecast of cold windy weather on Saturday prompted the Friends of Laurel Park to call off a jazz convert that had been scheduled for Saturday evening at Jump Off Rock.

Although there is no rain date, the concert series sponsors do plan to rebook Reggie Headen and the Jason DeChristofaro jazz trio at a later date.

The forecast Saturday calls for a 30 percent chance of showers after 3 p.m. with a high near 48 and wind gusts as high as 23 mph.
