Albrecht, Gould return to Pardee board

UNC Health Pardee has welcomed the return of two longtime community advocates, Tammy Albrecht and Chip Gould, to its 15-person board of directors.
Both bring decades of leadership, service and a shared passion for the well-being of Henderson County.  They will begin their new three-year terms in July, serving through 2028.

Tammy Albrecht served as a board member for eight years before rolling off in 2024. A Western North Carolina native, she was born in Tryon and moved to Hendersonville in 1967. She graduated from West Henderson High School and Mars Hill University. She began her career at Wilsonart more than 40 years ago, in the Human Resources Department and worked her way through the ranks in distribution, production and global project management. In addition to the Fletcher facility, Albrecht also oversees a facility in Montreal, Canada.

Gould returns to the Pardee board after serving from 2017 to 2023. A graduate of Hendersonville High School and Georgia Military College in Milledgeville, Georgia, he served in the U.S. Air Force from 1972 to 1976. Gould is president and owner of Cason Companies Inc., a family-owned distributor of petroleum products, masonry, landscaping materials and hardware goods. In addition to Pardee, Gould serves on the Blue Ridge Community College Board of Trustees and Education Foundation, Asheville Savings Bank Board and Hendersonville Planning Board.

The board also elected a new executive committee, voting for Hall Waddell as board chair, Dr. Bob Bryant as vice chair, Carol Larimore as secretary and Greg Burnette as treasurer. UNC Health Pardee extended its gratitude for the dedicated service of Brittany Brady and Debbie Bell, who rolled off the board.
