It's 11-12-13: It might snow

The area could see a little snow by mid-afternoon and early evening. Although that's not a certainty, this is: It's going to get cold tonight and Wednesday will feel like a winter day. If the cold coincides with an expected shower, we could see a little early November snow by sundown.

"There's a little band of showers off to our west," meteorologist Harry Gerapetritis of the National Weather Service said this morning. "Between now and noon temperatures across your area should be warm enough so it will stay rain through mid-afternoon. I think the odds are pretty good that it will begin as rain and change over to snow between 3 and 6 in the afternoon."
That band of precipitation should clear out by 6. The area "may get one last shot" of snow about an hour later but the ground is too warm for accumulation. "For your area it should all be done by 7 o'clock," he said. "It is going to get cold but it should be dry overnight."
The low tonight was expected to plunge to 24 degrees and the temperature Wednesday will climb to only 41 degrees under sunny skies. Thursday should warm up to 52 under clear skies again and Friday becomes partly cloudy with a high of 52 again.
