'Arts After Dark' debuts tonight at BRCC

"Arts After Dark," postponed by last week's snow, debuts tonight with food from a variety of restaurants and vendors, beer and wine and musical and dramatic entertainment.


The event is from 5:30 to 8 p.m. at the Conference Hall at Blue Ridge Community College.
MarkWarwickMark Warwick will emcee 'Arts After Dark'The entertainment lineup includes the Hendersonville Symphony Orchestra, Flat Rock Playhouse, Hendersonville Little Theatre, Arts Council of Henderson County, Carl Sandburg Home and BRCC student musicians. The emcee is Mark Warwick from WTZQ.
Food, beer and wine will be provided by Burntshirt Vineyards, Southern Appalachian Brewery, the Cupcake Place, the Green Room Cafe and Coffeehouse, Highland Lake Inn, the Italian Cookie Lady, Kilwin's and Van's Chocolates.
Other contributors include Carolina ACE Hardware, Kimberly-Clark, Morris Broadband and Sam's Club.
Major sponsors of the Chamber of Commerce event are Gentiva Home Health, BMW of Asheville and BRCC.
