Big Garage Sale under way at FUMC

The Hendersonville First United Methodist Church is holding its 25th annual Garage Sale from 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. today, May 2, and 8:30 a.m. until noon Saturday, May 3.


Collections for the sale come from several hundred families. A sample list of items available at the sale are antiques, original art, fine furniture, jewelry, collectibles, sports equipment, toys, linens, kitchenware, dishware, small appliances, decorator items, bric-a-brac, electronic items, books and recordings, bicycles, baby items , sporting goods, holiday décor, television sets, CDs, DVDs, shop tools, cameras, computer hardware and software, yard tools, lawnmowers, and hundreds more categories. There will be a separate "boutique and jewelry" area.
Proceeds will benefit local missions and special needs of the church. The Garage Sale is sponsored by the United Methodist Men, United Methodist and church youth ministries.
