Trailcam catches new video of fox in Haywood Knolls

Thomas Brass, who makes tapes of the wild animals in the upper Haywood Knolls forest, tells the Lightning that he got a new daytime video of one of his favorite visitors — a hairless Samson red fox.

Brass placed a Browning BTC 3 Trail Spec Ops cameraon a trail he cut through the woods, and has gotten video of red fox and gray fox, deer, bobcats, coyote and other animals. He baits the area with butcher shop scraps. The hairless fox is shown grabbing a beef bone and scampering off.
