Beautiful fall weather on tap this week

It will feel like fall when fall arrives officially at 10:29 Monday night.

After a chance of showers and thundershowers tonight, the area will see pleasant weather throughout the week and lows in the upper 40s as autumn debuts, the National Weather Service said.
"We have this front that's going to come through and we have this drier air working in and less warm conditions right on through the week," National Weather Service meteorologist Chris Horne said.
The forecast calls for highs hovering right around 70-72 through Friday with lows inching up from 48 earlier in the week to 54 for Friday night football. A significant chance of rain does not appear until Sunday.

"Much of this week is going to feel very fall like," Horne said.
