Schools get $1,000 checks from business partners

The Henderson County Education Foundation on Tuesday presented checks for $1,000 to the principals of Henderson County public schools as part of the new Schools Sponsorship Program.


Education Foundation Graham Fields presented the checks to the principals on behalf of business partners who provided the checks. The presentations were made during a system-wide principals meeting at the Mills River Academy. A check was also presented to the Historic Johnson Farm and John Murphy, director of Bullington Gardens.
