Early College High sets Roadrunner FundRun

The Henderson County Early College High School is hosting the first Roadrunner FundRun on Saturday, Dec. 6, at 8 a.m. on the campus of Blue Ridge Community College.

The Roadrunner FundRun will offer a one mile fun run/walk, as well as a 5K run to participants. "We welcome walkers and runners of all fitness levels to come out and enjoy the race while supporting our school," said Justin McKenzie, a career development counselor and PE teacher at BRCC who also coaches cross country at East Henderson High School.
Runners and walkers can pre-register for the event by Nov. 21 for $15, which includes a race shirt. Students can participate for $10. Late registration is available for $20 but doesn't guarantee a race shirt. Visit the school website for information on sponsorships, race registration and volunteering. On-line payments are accepted at http://www.hendersoncountypublicschoolsnc.org/hcec/roadrunner-fundrun/
Corporation and individual sponsorships are available.
