Fletcher sets tree lighting, Santa visit

FLETCHER — Missed the Christmas tree lighting on Friday night in downtown Hendersonville? Can't get enough of Santa? You're in luck.


The Fletcher Parks & Recreation Department will host its annual Christmas Tree Lightning and visit with Santa Claus at Fletcher Community Park on Friday, Dec. 5, at 6pm. The Fletcher Community Chorus will perform Christmas Carols, the Park Christmas tree will be lighted and Santa Claus will arrive around 6:25 p.m. to visit with children. Hot chocolate & cookies will be served by Dickie's BBQ staff. Sponsored by the Mission-Pardee Health Campus in Fletcher, the event will be held in the concert area next to the concession stand in Fletcher Community Park.
