Two charged after drug warrant is served

Law offciers arrested two residents of Druid HIlls Avenue on drug charges after a  a joint investigation by the Henderson County Sheriff's Office, the Hendersonville Police Department and the state State Bureau of Investigation into crack cocaine sales, the sheriff's offcie said in a news release.

Officers served a warrant at 1653 Druid Hills Ave. on Tuesday based on the joint investigation. The search resulted in the arrest of two people and the seizure of 3.6 grams of crack cocaine, marijuana, drug paraphernalia, and cash, the sheriff's office said.

Arrested were:

  • Similus Camilus, 58 of 1653 Druid Hills Ave., charged with one count of Felony Possession of a Schedule II Controlled Substance (crack cocaine) with the Intent to Manufacture, Sell or Deliver, one count of felony Maintaining a Dwelling for the Purposes of Controlled Substances, one count of misdemeanor Possession of Schedule VI Controlled Substance (marijuana) and one count of misdemeanor Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. Camilus is being held in the Henderson County Detention Facility under a $14,600 bond.
  • Michael Shuron Collins, 31, of 1653 Druid Hills Ave., charged with one count of Possession of a Schedule VI Controlled Substance (marijuana) with Intent to Manufacture, Sell or Deliver and one count of Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. Collins was additionally served with outstanding warrants for the Possession and Sale of Crack Cocaine. Collins is being held in the Henderson County Detention Facility under a $13,600 bond.
