TDA invites nonprofits to apply for tourism promotion grants

The Henderson County Tourism Development Authority has invited nonprofit organizations to apply for advertising funding through the 2015-16 budget year.

The TDA awards grants of up to $5,000 annually to Henderson County nonprofits to promote events, attractions and festivals that draw visitors from more than 40 miles outside Henderson County and encourage overnight stays, stimulating spending and boosting the local economy.
All applicants must attend the Grant Workshop at 10 a.m. Tuesday, April 7, at the Henderson County Public Library Kaplan Auditorium. Organizations that do not attend the workshop will not be eligible for a grant. Grant applications and guidelines are available at historichendersonville.org.
