Garden Jubilee seeks volunteers

The Henderson County Visitor Information Center is seeking volunteers to help at the Garden Jubilee Festival on Memorial Day weekend, May 23 and 24, and with setup on Friday, May 22.
The Garden Jubilee covers eight blocks of Main Street with 265 vendor spaces offering arts and crafts, plants and items to enhance outdoor living spaces.
Volunteer positions available include block captain (helping vendors); loading/unloading area (plant pickup/passenger dropoff); hospitality tent (information and plant-sitting services); children’s tent helper; and visitor survey taker. Volunteers will be required to attend a training meeting (dinner provided) at 6 p.m. Wednesday, May 6.
