Here are entertainment highlights of the weekend:

Rhythm & Brews at 5 p.m. Thursday in the Azalea parking lot on King Street features Dave Desmelik in the singer-songwriter spot, Empire Strikes Brass as the opening act and The Fritz as headliner. Free.

Music on Main Street — 7-9 p.m., Friday at the Visitor Information Center in Hendersonville. Concert series featuring Southern Crescent and Classic Car Show. Free, every Friday through August 14.  Cradle of Forestry in America hosts programs on bugs from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday in honor of National Pollinator Week and at 7:30 p.m. presents a firefly program in the Pink Beds picnic area.
