Ministers set Awake WNC revival July 17-19

The public is invited to join area pastors, ministry leaders and intercessors July 17-19 at Thomas Wolfe Auditorium in Asheville in seeking spiritual awakening in Western North Carolina.

AWAKE WNC will be preceded by a preparatory prayer gathering beginning on site at noon on Friday, July 17, with opening worship by Michael Card at 6 p.m. AWAKE WNC will conclude at 4:30 p.m. on Sunday, July 19.
A spiritual gathering for repentance, restoration and renewal, the event will feature nationally and internationally known speakers, including Anne Graham Lotz, focusing on teaching; revival scholar and historian Richard Owen Roberts; Dennis Sempebwa from Uganda, ministering God’s call to revival; and Isik Abla, a Muslim convert to Christianity who will share her deep burden for America.
“God is calling people from all denominations and all walks of life to humble ourselves in his presence,” said Bill Campbell, president of the Henderson County Ministerial Association and pastor of Hendersonville Presbyterian Church. “This is not about big numbers but about each individual and God’s kingdom in each community.”
