Rosman plant adding 30 jobs

New Excelsior Inc., a division of Sigma Plastics Group, has announced an expansion that will result in 30 new manufacturing positions at its plant in Rosman.

The company has immediate needs for customer account representatives, maintenance technicians, skilled trade positions and printing press helpers/trainees. Interested applicants are encouraged to make plans to attend a job fair scheduled for 9 a.m. to noon on Saturday, Aug. 15, at the plant at 1379 Old Rosman Highway.
Company leadership will be available to accept applications, interview candidates, and provide factory tours. Qualified applicants are also encouraged to explore online job postings at NCWorks.gov (Search: New Excelsior) or visit an NCWorks Career Center for additional details.
New Excelsior’s latest hiring phase follows an 80 job expansion publicized in August 2014. The new job opportunities coincide with the company’s continued investments in advanced manufacturing equipment to serve customers in the food, medical and consumer packaging industries. Products manufactured at the Rosman, NC, facility can be found in a wide variety of retail locations including grocery stores, medical offices, and home improvement stores.
Sigma Plastics Group, based in Lyndhurst, New Jersey, is North America’s largest privately held film manufacturer, with over 35 locations throughout the United States and Canada. Since acquiring the Excelsior facility in 2014, the company has rapidly invested in the North Carolina facility. The business has evolved from a small venture to a market leader in the packaging industry.

Much of our growth is a result of our skilled production team.”
