Sierra Nevada to hold Oktoberfest

Sierra Nevada is hosting its inaugural Oktoberfest at the brewery in Mills River on Oct. 24.


Oktoberfest will feature Bavarian food, beer, live music and a hearty helping of Gemütlichkeit to Mills River. The festival will include a German meal and live music featuring March Fourth Marching Band.

Sierra Nevada will run free shuttles from downtown Asheville and downtown Hendersonville on North Main Street at Fifth Avenue so people don't have to drive to the festival.
