Free Clinics giving free shots Monday

The Free Clinics will offer free flu shots and a variety of preventative health screenings to the community from 3 to 6 p.m. Monday, Sept. 28.
Residents of Henderson and Polk counties are encouraged to take advantage of free Hepatitis C screenings, HIV testing, blood sugar screenings, blood pressure checks and body mass index testing. As part of Prostate Cancer Awareness Month, there will also be free prostate screenings during the event.

The free event is cosponsored Walgreens, the Park Ridge Health Wellness on Wheels program and the Western North Carolina AIDS Project. The Free Clinics is at 841 Case Street in Hendersonville. call 697-8422 or visit www.thefreeclinics.org.
