Arson suspected in Alpine Woods trailer fire

Henderson County sheriff’s deputies are investigating a suspicious fire that occurred at 26 Warrens Run Drive in the troubled Alpine Woods mobile home park off Howard Gap Road.

Sheriff’s Office investigators were called to the scene after four area fire departments responded to a fire in a vacant trailer at 10:15 Wednesday night. No other homes were involved and no injuries were reported. Witnesses reported several vehicles leaving the area at the time of the fire. Investigators are asking anyone with information about the fire or suspects to call the Henderson County Sheriff’s Office, Criminal Investigations Division, at 828-694-2767.
