Signup under way for Turkey Trot

The third annual Turkey Trot 5k sponsored by the city of Hendersonville is set for Thanksgiving morning.

The Trot is a run/walk event open to all ages, all fitness levels and all family members. The non-sanctioned 5k starts in front of City Hall on Thanksgiving morning at 8:30 and travels through downtown to Oakdale Cemetery ending back at City Hall. The online entry fee of $11 includes a long sleeve t-shirt. Volunteers are needed and will receive a free T-shirt.
Prizes will be given for the oldest participant, best costume, farthest traveled and family with the most participants.
