Bounty of Bethlehem volunteer signup is Saturday

Bounty of Bethlehem is gearing up for the annual community Christmas Day dinner that since 1983 has made sure no one is alone and no one is forgotten on Christmas Day. All events are at the Immaculata School Gymnasium, 711 Buncombe Street. Organizers will hold Volunteer Signup Day, 8 a.m.-1 p.m. Saturday.

Other events are:
• Turkey or Bone-in Ham Dropoff, 8 a.m.-6 p.m. Saturday, Dec 19, and Sunday, Dec 20.
• Dessert Drop Off, 8 a.m.-6 p.m., Dec 23 and 24, and 10-11 a.m. on Christmas Day.
• Toy Drive, 8 a.m.-1 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 5, and 8 a.m.- 6 p.m. Saturday, Dec 19. Please donate new and unwrapped toys only and include batteries.
Other toy dropoff locations through Dec. 17 are Dr. Joe Farrar offices in Hendersonville and Brevard; Mast General Store on Main Street, and Millers cleaners locations in Hendersonville and Laurel Park.
