Rudnick Foundation gives $50k for Pardee Cancer Center

The Perry N. Rudnick Endowment has donated $50,000 to support the Pardee Comprehensive Cancer Center Campaign, Pardee Hospital Foundation announced today.

"On behalf of Pardee Hospital Foundation, I would like to thank the Rudnick Endowment for their long-time support and generous gift to Pardee's new Comprehensive Cancer Center," Kim Hinkelman, executive director of the foundation, said in a news release. "Our donors help make leading-edge cancer care in our community possible."

Set to open in fall 2016, the new Pardee Hospital Comprehensive Cancer Center will house advanced services and facilities to provide more convenient care, better research capability, increased synergy among providers and better outcomes for patients.

Established as a private foundation in 2001, the Perry N. Rudnick Endowment Fund has been administered bythe Community Foundation of Henderson County since 2004. The fund's areas of interest include arts and culture, conservation, education, health, human services and youth.
