The SUV was stolen in early September in Henderson County and recovered in Greenville County, SC. When the vehicle was recovered, deputies saw that a trailer hitch and trailer wiring harness had been added. Located inside the vehicle were two sets of keys, all of which appear to belong large equipment such as Bobcat’s, John Deere tractors and Gators, Kubota tractors, and possibly larger equipment brands like Volvo and Caterpillar. Detectives believe that the operators of the vehicle could be suspects in larcenies of large equipment across Western North Carolina, Upstate South Carolina and Northern Georgia.
