Pardee offers cancer education series

Pardee Hospital Foundation invites the public to attend "Right Here, Right Now: A Cancer Education Series" each Monday in February from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Flat Rock Cinema, 2700 Greenville Highway.

Each session is free to attend and lunch is provided. The panel will feature Pardee Cancer experts, including oncologists, surgeons, cancer research nurses, cancer navigators and a palliative care provider from Four Seasons Compassion for Life.

Topics include: Introduction to the Pardee Cancer Program and Center (Feb. 1), Cancer Research (Feb. 8), Overview of Oncology: Hematology and Radiation (Feb. 15), and Healing and Survivorship (Feb. 22).
