Schedivy scored the third goal of the half when she did a smooth head fake to get the goalie moving one way and she slipped the ball right past the post.

The second half started with a fast pace with Hendersonville scoring within the first ten minutes. Ellie Bowen broke free from the defense to receive a through pass and score a breakaway goal. Waynesville tried to get back in the game by overloading the Hendersonville defense by sending more players forward. Goalie Katie Parce and the defense made several great plays to preserve the shutout and the win. All 20 players made contributions in the game.

Coaches Tom Bushe and Jerry Smith thanked the players and parents for a memorable season.
